Jacksonville Women’s Rugby is looking for a new Head Coach!
We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and experienced rugby player or coach to lead our women’s rugby team. Our ideal candidate is committed to player development, building team culture, and growing the sport of rugby in the Jacksonville community.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and lead engaging rugby practices twice a week.
- Teach and develop fundamental rugby skills, techniques, and game strategies.
- Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, discipline, and player development.
- Assist with game-day coaching and team preparation.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive team environment.
- Collaborate with fellow coaches and team leadership.
- Prioritize player safety and follow appropriate rugby safety guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Rugby playing or coaching experience is required.
- L200 or higher coaching certification preferred, or equivalent experience based on coaching background.
- Candidates without certification should be willing to pursue rugby coaching certification.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Passion for developing athletes and growing the sport of rugby.
- Commitment to inclusivity and alignment with Jacksonville Women’s Rugby’s mission.
- Ability to commit to regular practices twice a week and games on Saturdays.
Compensation:
This is a strictly volunteer, unpaid position. No salary, hourly wages, or other financial compensation will be provided.
